Top Camera Offerings of 2020
In a world that continually gets digitized, comes a whole plethora of cameras that our business and other vendors offer. There are a lot of options out there, and in this post I’d like to share the options we provide to our clients and some ways how they may outweigh other vendors.
Alarm.com AI Cameras
Alarm.com is one of our security partners paving the way to a safer and better security experience. With their smart phone app, you can arm and disarm your security system remotely from anywhere in the world. Alongside that, they also give you the options to integrate their cameras into the Alarm.com app for simple ease of management. Built into many Alarm.com cameras is an artificial intelligence program that can identify what your camera is actually viewing. For example, these cameras can identify if it’s a human on your property versus a bear. Both would be picked up by the camera, highlighted as such and saved in your camera log as what the camera saw. This allows you to skip all of the other motion detection, and go strait to what you want to see.
LUMA Cameras
Another vendor we work with directly is LUMA Surveillance by SnapAV. They provide durable, high quality video networking cameras for large or commercial applications. We have installed these cameras for many residential and commercial clients with great positive feedback. These cameras have ultimate reliability due to POE connectivity (power-over-Ethernet). With a single CAT-6 cable to each camera, you get an extremely reliable connection and power to your camera. You can trust that your camera will be online when you need it most. With remote access viewing available from anywhere in the world, Luma cameras offer peace of mind when you’re away.
